Practical Strategies for Better Brain Health:
A Healthier Today and a Vital Tomorrow

This series addresses the ways in which a person can positively affect his or her own cognitive health, thereby increasing the potential that he or she will remain cognitively healthy.

Topics presented:
• What’s known about enhancing brain function
• Protecting oneself through diet and fitness
• Constructing a personal brain fitness plan

The series instructor is JoAnn Gruca, a doctorally prepared gerontological nurse practitioner with the Center for Whole Health.

Participants will receive a free copy of a book containing background information and practical strategies to help achieve goals set during the three-part series.

The series registration fee is $10.00; scholarships are available. Pre-registration is required; participants can register for the three-session series.
