who gather together to explore ideas, socialize, and reinforce their faith in God.

Monthly Friday Programs

This group gathers on the second Friday of each month in the Multipurpose Space on the 19th floor of the 737 building. Most programs start at 6:00 p.m. with coffee and registration; a presentation by a speaker begins at 6:30 p.m. Following the talk, there is a time for fellowship and refreshments. All are welcome!

Friday, February 10

7:30 p.m.—Reception with light food 

Put on your dancing shoes! We'll line dance the winter blues away at this fun event with a dancing lesson provided by a professional dance instructor from Chicago Dance. No partner needed!

Register with Julia Bergen by 12:00 noon, Wednesday, February 8 to receive a discounted registration fee of $10.
 

A Presentation on Ernest Hemingway 
Friday, March 9

A speaker from the Ernest Hemingway Museum in Oak Park will join us for this presentation, which will include readings and interpretations of excerpts from some of Hemingway’s most popular works.

“The Tragedy of the Titanic”
Friday, April 13

Fourth Church Organist and Music Director John Sherer will speak on the story of the Titanic as we mark the 100th anniversary of that tragic event. John also is performing a Titanic-related organ concert that weekend.

The registration fee for the monthly gatherings is $10 paid in advance (by 12:00 noon on the Wednesday before the event) or $15 at the door.
