NURSERY ATTENDANT

Fourth Presbyterian Church seeks Nursery Attendants to provide childcare on a regular basis during Sunday morning worship services.

Responsibilities
To be a loving caregiver to the children in the nursery and to help make an inviting room for children
To work as a team with the other childcare workers and superintendent
To assist the superintendent in making sure parents sign in their children and that the parent’s pager number is recorded
To make sure the nursery is cleaned up after use on Sunday morning
To inform the superintendent of any problems, concerns, or suggestions about the nursery
To file incident reports concerning a child that was hurt or sick and inform the parents with the help of the superintendent
To notify the superintendent as soon as possible when not able to be present on Sunday
To call in when sick on a Sunday morning
To greet and welcome parents(s) coming to the nursery and communicate to them nursery procedures

Qualifications

• CPR certified
Work experience with infants and toddlers.
Enjoy being with young children and realize the importance of the church nursery in the life of the church.
Sense of orderliness and cleanliness so that the nursery room appears clean and inviting to all who use it.
Current TB shot and a security clearance.
