every fitness level and every age. The Nia expressive movement of body-mind-spirit, empowers people to achieve well-being.
What is Nia?
Nia is a body-mind-spirit fitness and lifestyle practice fusing dance, yoga, and martial arts from ancient East-West philosophy. Nia sessions explore moving the body with balance, ease, and precision and promote experiencing the power of self-healing. The Nia blueprint is practical, experiential, and focuses on internal guidance to change and develop awareness.
Information and Registration
• Twice a week registration is $200 for the twelve-week course; $180 for the eleven-week course
• Once a week registration is $140 for the twelve-week course; $130 for the eleven-week course
Choose to register for either Wednesday class or Friday class only.
• Drop-ins welcome at $15 per individual session.
• Registration is required.
About the Instructors
Anne Pringle Burnell is a certified Nia Brown Belt instructor, and is certified by the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America, the American Council on Exercise, Stott Pilates™, and the Aquatics Exercise Association. Anne is also the founder of the Stronger Seniors® Workout Program and Peyow® Aqua Pilates.
Jamie Klausing is a Black Belt Nia instructor and has been teaching Nia for over eight years. Her creative, gentle approach to teaching and movement encourages and empowers students to express their own individuality to experience personal growth as well as reach their fitness goals.
