| Renovate
and expand our Michigan Avenue facilities to address the absolutely
critical shortage of program space and accommodate our growth from
2,800 to 5,700 members by renovating the Manse and the Parish
House,
making improvements to the pews, stained glass windows and sanctuary
sound system; and adding an additional 60,000+ square feet in
accordance
with the approved facilities master plan ($29 million)
Secure the future of our growing programs by adding to our endowment
($10 million)
Support pastoral theological education with a gift to McCormick
Theological Seminary ($1 million)
Continue to build our physical presence in the transforming Cabrini
neighborhood where we have partnered with our neighbors for decades.
Today we use our Chicago Avenue property to host the Chicago Avenue
Community Garden. Looking ahead, we will develop a community facility
on this site to allow for greater programming and fellowship opportunities
and to help us serve as an anchor and a source of hope and understanding
for our neighbors. ($12.5 million)
