Renovation and expansion of the church’s Michigan Avenue facilities is one of four key initiatives of Project Light—the bold and faithful vision for Fourth Presbyterian Church.

Project Light Construction Summary
Major construction work in the sanctuary has been completed; however final details and improvements are still being addressed and will continue into the summer. Revisions to the new sound system design are underway to address various issues and concerns. The fabrication of pew cushions, final details for the hearing assistance systems, and HVAC remediation are still in progress, as well as some unrelated punch list items including pew number installation.

We appreciate your feedback, which has been extremely helpful as we work to complete the sanctuary improvement project and especially as we continue to resolve issues with the sound system. We are grateful for the congregation’s continued patience throughout this work and we appreciate your sense of cooperation.
