• connects people of similar ages in a common place
• serves as an entry point for young adults into the life of Fourth Church
• welcomes seekers, questioners, the convinced, and the agnostic
• provides opportunities for serving others
• engages in thoughtful exploration of discipleship
• offers a space to encounter the intersection of faith and (post)modern life
• achieves the above while holding onto a sense of fun and fellowship

Son of Man Viewing Party
Friday, November 6
1:45 p.m. on the 19th floor
of the 737 building
Instead of watching the 2005 movie Son of Man on a Friday night as we'd suggested over the last few weeks, we have changed the date so that hopefully more people will be able to attend. We will now view the movie after our Gathering on Sunday, November 6 at 1:45 p.m. The eighty-three-minute film depicts what Jesus' story might look like in contemporary Africa and reveals some very powerful modern parallels.
We hope you'll stick around after the Gathering and join us for this engaging film. Pizza will be provided for lunch.
Homemade Pizza Night
Friday, November 18
7:00 p.m. at Matt's apartment
You're invited to a Friday dinner of homemade pizzas made by Pastoral Resident Matt Helms! Matt made pizzas in college and specializes in bizarre topping combinations (his favorites: BBQ, bacon, chicken, ranch, as well as loaded nacho). Come join him and his wife in Oak Park for pizza, drinks, games, and a whole lot of fun.
RSVP to Matt if you plan on attending so that he can send you his address and make sure to prepare enough pizza. You are welcome to bring friends, significant others, and spouses, too!
Young Couples Small Groups
Looking to find a smaller community within this larger church? Small groups for young couples are a great way to grow in your faith and form community. Groups are open to those married, engaged, partnered, or in committed relationships. Groups meet about every six weeks for events, dinners, and Bible studies. To visit a group or learn more, contact Matt Helms
