Sunday Morning Gatherings

From September through May we meet each Sunday morning at 10:30 a.m. in the Steve Bumpus Activity Room on the second floor of the Gratz Center. At 11:00 a.m., we split into our respective groups, with Elevation in Room 4G.

Upcoming Opportunities

AWOL: A Work of Love
A Presbytery of Chicago Lock-In
   Friday, April 11, 6:00 p.m.
   Saturday, April 12, 4:30 p.m.
   at Fourth Church

Elevation youth are invited to “AWOL: A Work of Love,” a lock-in at Fourth Church with youth not only from the Fourth Church congregation but from churches all within the Chicago Presbytery. On Saturday participants will be traveling to First Presbyterian Church Urban Farms to do service work before returning to Fourth Church for closing worship.

Provided meals include Friday supper through lunch on Saturday. Snacks will also be served.

To register, please complete and submit the following by Sunday, March 30:

  • $55 per person registration fee
    Checks can be made out to “Fourth Presbyterian Church”
    Please write “Youth: 2014 AWOL” in the memo
  • Registration Form/Medical Form

Pancake Breakfast
   Sunday, May 4
   9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in Borwell Dining Room

The annual Pancake Breakfast fundraiser for the youth’s summer work camp trip to Haiti will be held on Sunday, May 4! Between 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. in Borwell Dining Room, enjoy a warm breakfast of all-you-can-eat pancakes, eggs, and sausage for a suggested donation of $12. Made-to-order omelets will be prepared by John Vest, Associate Pastor for Youth Ministry, for an additional donation of $5.

Proceeds support the annual youth mission trip, which this summer will take them to Haiti, where youth will work on house repair and construction.

Tickets for the Pancake Breakfast will be available on Sundays, April 13 and 27 and at the door on Sunday, May 4.
