Changes to Payment at the 900 N. Michigan Garage

Since August 18, 2025 all payment for parking at the 900 N. Michigan garage is by an online account for ALL garage users (not merely for those who are getting a validated discount).

All pay stations will be removed from the garage, and the paper tickets will no longer be used.

Rather than paying before returning to your car, you will simply return to your car and exit the garage; a license-plate reader will bill the payment method that you put on file (see “How to create an account” below).

Discounted parking will be available by using a QR code that will be posted at the church and which you will scan with your mobile device. For details, keep reading.

1. How to Create an Account for the 900 Garage
(Required for parking there)

To park in the 900 garage, you must create an account by visiting the website metropolis.io/join or by scanning this QR code:

You will be setting up a payment method with Metropolis and registering your license plate(s) with them.

2. How to Get a Discounted Rate in the 900 Garage

To park at a discounted rate (see below for rates), before returning to your vehicle, with your mobile device scan the appropriate QR code (the Sunday discount QR code is printed on the back of every Sunday's worship bulletin; the weekday evening discount QR code is available on a card at the church reception desk.

Then, when your car exits the garage, you will be automatically charged using the payment method you have put on file with Metropolis. The discount you received by scanning the QR code will be applied to your parking cost.

SUNDAY PARKING RATES

900 N. Michigan Garage

Sunday parking is available at 900 N. Michigan (access at 911 N. Rush or 45 E. Walton) at the rate of $10 for 6 hours between 7:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.

To get this discount, those who park at the 900 garage need to scan the QR code printed on the back page of the worship bulletin (see instructions above).

Hancock Garage

Sunday parking is also available at the John Hancock garage (875 N. Michigan; enter from Delaware or Chestnut) at the rate of $10 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. using a validation ticket picked up at the church.

WEEKDAY PARKING RATES

Validated weekday evening parking is available only at the 900 N. Michigan garage for entry after 5:00 p.m. and at the rate of $8.

To get this discount, those who park at the 900 garage need to scan the QR code for weekday evening discounts, available on a card at the church reception desk.

ON SATURDAYS no validated parking is available.
