Prayers of the People

Sunday, March 21, 2010
Offered by Joyce Shin, Associate Pastor

Most gracious God, you have spent your love on us. We can hardly believe how much you care for us, the extent to which you suffer for us. Do not let it be for nothing.

Do not let the life, suffering, and death of your Son come to nothing. May the story of how he lived, how he died, and how he rose again reach each generation of peoples so that all the world might take notice and take to heart the love you spent in Jesus Christ for our sake.

We have confidence that no one can remain unmoved by your love. Your love has the power to transform this world, to turn it from wrong to right.

There are lessons for us to learn, O Lord. Let us learn by example. Let us learn by your commandments.

And hear us as we pray in the words your Son taught us: Our Father . . .
