School Supply Drive
Each summer we collect school supplies for our Chicago Lights Tutoring, Summer Day, and the Urban Farm students.
Our 2022 School Supply Drive is underway, and there are three different ways to contribute to the drive this year.
You can mail in or drop off a check at Fourth Church (attn: Simon Crow), or make an online donation by clicking here—select “Congregational Life” and then note “School Supplies” in the comment box. (If contributing by check, please make the check payable to Fourth Presbyterian Church and write “School Supplies” on the memo line.)
2. Through donations of supplies.
You may purchase items and either drop them off at the church or have them shipped to the church (attn: Simon Crow). For a list of backpack needs by grade, click here; for a consolidated list of needed supplies, click here; for the Tutoring supply list, click here.
Supplies can also be purchased online and shipped to the church using the wish list www.bit.ly/fpcschoolsupplies22. Supplies are needed by Monday, August 8 for Urban Farm students. The supplies for Tutoring will be collected throughout August.
3. Through volunteering your time and energy!
We’ll be working to unpack, inventory, sort donations, and fill backpacks on the following days. RSVP to Simon Crow if you plan to volunteer.
- Tuesday, August 9 (11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.)
- Wednesday, August 10 (11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.; 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.)
